We require a machine for moving logs. We have a backhoe available.

Log diameter up to 4’. Lengths up to 28’. Lumber size up to 8’ x 16’ beam.

Log staging is important. The logs should be in a deck— at the mill set up site. I am able to move logs with the backhoe from further distances, but of course, extra backhoe time is extra money...

Notes about Milling

The mill is so portable we can take it just about anywhere. But it requires a flat area around it and some area to work. Also remember you will have to put all of those boards somewhere.
